The Opportunity
Our partner is an Australia-based leading communications and Telecom software company, listed on the Australian Stock Exchange since 2006 is looking for a Software Engineer who is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the application. This is a hands-on role that will be developing new features for our customers which meet the needs of our business. As a Software Engineer, you are also involved in building with best practices and resiliency in mind, adhering to agile processes and dealing with business and technology stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

This is a hands-on role that will be developing new features for our customers which meet the needs of our business. As a Software Engineer, you are also involved in building with best practices and resiliency in mind, adhering to agile processes and dealing with business and technology stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of stable, secure and efficient ITSM workflow solutions.
- Proactively support and prevent performance issue son the application.
- When an issue occurs, show insight, initiative, and determination to ensure the customer disruption unminimized.
- To always leave the ITS scripts, workflows, forms, and objects in a better state than starting.
- Your ITSM solutions area adequately tested.
- Escalate issues/risks to manager when needed.
- Ensure the appropriate consideration is given to testing, security, stability, reliability and monitoring (within a definition of done).
- Support the Lead Software Engineer with the end-to-end delivery of the team’ products/platforms
- Strong experience in JavaScript, Minimum 3-5 years of Javascript experience
- Exposure to working within a no-code / scripting environment
- Experience with webhooks, JSON and XML
- Got experience in similar ticketing tools like: Jira, Service now will also a plus point
- ITIL knowledge would be regarded favorably
- Experience in Python and Golang would be beneficial
- Strong experience and exposure to large scale and complex applications.
- Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced and geographically distributed environment.
